This is a cinematic trailer for the up coming game DC Universe Online – This is one of the best I have ever seen for a game and anyone who loves Superman, Batman or any of the DC characters is going to love this short – Enjoy.

There are 1,523 cuts in the film, with over 1300 visual effect shots comprising 8631 visual effect elements.  That has got to tell you something about the work gone into making this awesome film.  And awesome it is…Whilst watching this, I doubt there is a man alive who who does not get a testosterone rush and would have liked to have been a Spartan.

Definitely one for the collection and (it goes without saying) as a Blu Ray for sure.

I have a dream of hassle free computing with hardware that is aesthetically pleasing as it is powerful… I dream of future-proof hardware and of simplifying my work flow. I picture running 5 monitors as one massive extended desktop and running software at break neck speeds with zero latency.

The first time I heard  Venetian Snares (actually one man called Aaron Funk) was a song called ‘Epidermis’  that I heard late one night, driving home from a gig, listening to John Peel’s show about 4 years ago.

Already being a massive Aphex Twin fan ( and with it being in a similar vein ) – I immediately went out and purchased every album.

Just like Aphex Twin, his music is not for the faint hearted, but it is pure genius.

“Boards don’t hit back.” – Bruce Lee

Of all the Bruce Lee films on offer, this has to be the best?  This is the one I always come back to. The opening  Shaolin Monastery fight scene, the brilliant and menacing Bolo Yeung and of course the iconic ‘hall of mirrors’ ending.

I also think it must be a huge influence on every fighting console/ arcade game made. The format, ie fighting ever increasing tougher opponents until the big boss (no pun intended) is replicated in pretty much all of them.

Brilliant film and Bruce at his best.

Well I could not hold off any longer! I was going to wait for V2, but just could not help myself (always knew I would cave!).

I am glad I did though as the thing is amazing – forget everything negative you may have read about it, it is only until you get hands on with one of these babies that you realise why you need it. If you are still in two minds, take a look at this to help you make that decision.

The Hubble Telescope is now 20 years old, yet still the images coming from it are amazing…
